I went through a bit of a reading slump this month and I'm not really sure why. Part of it could be I started taking classes at the local tech school (just 2) and they're a lot of writing, so I had to focus more on that, but I'm not sure if that's it. When the month first started, I FLEW through "First Grave on the Right" by Darynda Jones (read my review here) and absolutely loved it, but then struggled to finish even the ones I'd started in January. I really enjoyed all of them, but I just struggled to actually sit down and read them, even though I had plenty of time. I would find my self web surfing instead of reading, even if the book was right there. Oh well, maybe March will be better.
I did, however manage to read 4 books this month (and almost complete my February TBR pile, but only just) and even managed to start Dark Lover by J.R. Ward and hope to finish it in March.
- First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones 310 pgs 5/5
- Pride & Prejudice & Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith 175/319 pgs read this month 5/5
- Night Study by Maria V. Snyder 204/400pgs 5/5
- The Ghost and the Graveyard by Genieve Jack 282/303 pgs 4/5
- Dark Side of the Moon by Sherrilyn Kenyon 209/353pgs 4.5/5
- Dark Lover by J. R. Ward 25/416 pgs
These five bring my page count to 1,205 for the month and my year-to-date page count to 5,908. Hope March is better. How'd you guys do? Any suggestions?
