So I’ve heard about Thrift Books from a few different people and decided to give them a try.
I spent a few days looking around their website, trying to decide what I wanted to buy. While I was looking through their selection of “Thrift Deals” (2 for $7, 3 for $10, 4 for $12 with each additional book costing $3 each), I found the rest of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” (I already have The Lightning Thief) series and decided that at $12, I couldn’t pass that deal up. I also got The Tales of Beedle the Bard with this order.

I ordered on February 2nd and received them on February 6th. All these books were advertised as being in either Acceptable or Good condition. I agree whole-heartedly with that assessment of their condition! They look very well-loved, no more damaged than what I would do to them, with no underlining or highlighting on the pages that I saw in a quick flip through. They did all come with a bar code sticker on the spine, but that was very easily removed.
I will definitely order from them again and recommend them to anyone looking for cheap books. They have a wonderful selection of all sorts of books, not just popular books too!
Thrift Books also allows you to create wishlists, so you can mark books you might not want to purchase right now, but will in the future. I have about six wishlists at the moment, all organised by series that I need to complete. You can choose your covers (unless you go with the thrift deal books, there are only certain covers available for the deal books).
If you don't like purchasing used books, they also give you the option of purchasing a brand new copy, though the ones I looked at were not any cheaper than going to a bookstore and buying it there.
Can't wait for my next Thrift Books order!
