Hey everybody! I saw this on The Sapphire's wonderful blog and she invited other book blogs to do the same, so here it goes!
How long have you been a blogger?
I've had a blog for almost 3 years now, but it was very touch and go and not book-related until very recently (Nov of 2015). I've been much more consistent since I've changed to a book blog and I hope it gets better as I continue!
At what point do you think you will stop?
I don't think anyone in the Book Blogger community ever wants to stop book blogging, but life gets in the way and other things become more important, so they quit due to time restraints. Hopefully, I never reach that point, but if I do, I don't think I'll be sad that I stopped.
What is the best thing?
I love seeing others post about books and talking with people who feel the same way I do about reading. I enjoy the comraderie that we share over books, discussing our views and finding others who share our opinions about certain topics and arguments.
What is the worst thing? What do you do to make it okay?
I think, for me anyway, the worst thing is when you're first starting out and you don't have many (if any) followers, so you feel as if you're doing it for nothing, even though you know that the popular blogs didn't get that way overnight. Building up a following takes time, but it can be hard to remember when you look at other blog's follower count and see such high numbers and then return to your blog and see single digits.
I just try to remember that I started this because I wanted talk about books and that the followers will come with time (if I manage to stick around that long 😆)
How long does it take you to create/find pictures to use?
I usually use pictures I take for bookstagram, though with my book reviews I have good and gotten just a picture of the cover to use without taking it myself so I know it is a clear picture.
Who is your book crush?
I feel like if I did that, we'd be here all day! The few that come to mind immediately are Mr. Darcy, Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Valek Ixia, and Janco's Ixia.
What author would you like to have on your blog?
I would love to have Maria V. Snyder, Sherrylin Kenyon, and/or Jeaniene Frost on here 😍
What do you wear when you write your blog?
It depends on what I'm doing that day. As I write this post, I'm wearing a Chicago Blackhawks jersey and black leggings with my winter boots (I'm supposed to be working on my response essay📝 as I sit in English Class typing this, shhhh)
Most of the time though, I'm wearing a tanktop and shorts or pajama pants while I sit in my bed🛏
How long does it take you to prepare?
It depends on what I'm writing about. Most of the time though, I simply sit down and write my post before I publish it. The only one's I really plan in advance are my end of the month wrap-ups, which I work on throughout the month as I finish books and those are just short little blurbs that include the book title, author, pages read, and my rating.
Otherwise, if it's a book review, I guess however long it takes me to read the book is how long it takes me to prepare.
How do you feel about the book blogger community/culture?
Everyone I've talked to has been friendly, welcoming, and encouraging, as well as enthusiastic about what their reading.

What do you think one should do to get a successful belong?
I really think you should just be yourself. Reach out to other bloggers and comment on their posts, but be polite, particularly if you don't agree with their views. I've found that if I follow them and like or comment on a post or two, they check out my blog and hopefully return the favor.
